Kirkus Starred Review!
Whoo hoo! I found out that my current book, SOPHIE'S FISH, received a starred review from Kirkus. For those of you who may not be familiar with Kirkus, they are notoriously difficult to get a good review from. I'm super excited that they liked this book.

hi Lee! I came across your painting Bike Lights on pinterest, & went nuts trying to find the artist, since the pinner uploaded the image themselves. Thank God for helpful people on Yahoo, someone knew instantly it was yours. I have been looking through your Gallery, & just wanted you to know I love your work. I happen to have a niece Sophia who already loves books at the age of 4, so I am going to send her Sophie's Fish for a Christmas gift, I can't wait to hear how she loves the story & the pictures!
